2/2/19 –  Ruby made it safely to Southern California just before her new home was surrounded by the horrible fires!  She is safe and enjoying her new life with Erica.  These photos of her with Erica were taken January 27, 2019.  As we experienced temps way below 0 in her former Indiana home, she enjoyed temperatures in the ’80s, scenic trails, and a new family!  She is a lucky little filly!

10/18/18 – Today Renee, Mary, Ashley, and I said goodbye to baby Firefly Finale (Rocket) who will be leaving Shipshewana next week for her new home in California and a secret mission in the public eye yet to be announced. Renee produces authentic Appaloosas and gives them a gentle start on the ground. Being true versatile Appaloosas by both blood and generations, Renee’s foals are able to go anywhere and do anything well. You can expect to see Firefly out and about in a few years. She’s sure to be a great ambassador for the authentic Appaloosa!
